Peer-to-peer Insurance
The sole purpose of insurance was created to protect consumers from financial troubles. Expensive travel insurance often remains unused - creating financial troubles of its own. Increasingly, consumers are no longer purchasing insurance and traveling unprotected.
At Pontu, we are taking insurance back to basics. With a mutual structure, any unused capital in a Pod's insurance pool is redistributed to members, resulting in, on average, a significantly cheaper travel insurance cost.
